After work yesterday went to Freedom Park yet again to enjoy the beautiful spring weather. Did and practiced through the 8-step brocade, Push the Mountain Move the Sea form and the main form Part 1. Especially the last one a few times through ensuring that I know the moves and the energy associated with each of them. That put me in a relaxed, grounded state for the next couple of hours in particular.
We had another fam discussion where Mom and Dad mostly expressed their feelings with Sathvik and I listening. I did make a few points that were trying to reconcile what all parties' perspectives were. I think we were all able to empathize with each other more this time than in past discussions.
At the end, Vik did say "thank you for bringing this family together, Sai." I'm not sure exactly what I said that helped that, but I'm glad it was a contributing factor to aligning everyone.
The thing I just realized rn is that even though we may discuss our bodies (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, etc.) as distinct, they're all actually the same. Even the distinctions between physical, subtle, mental, intellectual, and bliss body are just conscious constraints so our rational mind can think about and process it. But really, it's all one and the same. The physical body health / lack of health is represented in the other aspects. The mental side is definitely reflected in the physical body with the cause of most health conditions being physical, mental and emotional stress. With all the stress, how can one expect to live a life of ease, order, and function? It'll be a life of dis-ease, disorder, and dysfunction. Same principle from Leadership Dojo when he talks about the 5 steps to Leadership Presence. He only separated them out to describe the process in detail. But in reality, it's just one encompassing idea.
