Dang how is February already almost over?
Excited to attend the video shoots for 2U today. First time at one of these so let's see how it goes and how I can learn.
I watched about 30 min of Jay Shetty's podcast w/Kobe Bryant from 2019, so it was sad to hear from them talk about all the things he was doing; the endless stories he had that would never get told by him. 😢 The optimist in me says, "How was that accident and series of events for the better?" On an individual family level, it can be tough to argue that, especially for the families of those victims. But what if Kobe and all the others being in their subtle or light body can can help enact more change or inspire more than they could have in their physical bodies? I haven't gotten to it yet, but some of the comments in the video said how real it was when he talked about how some of his mentors were not alive. (I'm not sure if he means that they died recently or that he looks at MLK & George Washington and people like that who he never interacted with as mentors and just learns from reading up about them). Either way, it hit people home, so I'll have to see which he means. But I think there have been many people inspired to do things they wouldn't have done but did bc of the Mamba Mentality. It's the true sign of legacy when you can inspire more people posthumously than you can when you were alive. Same with Gianna and all the others that were on that helicopter. Obviously, no one wishes that to have happened. My thought process is "how and why is that good for the greatest # of people?" I think both things can be true. It was tragic AND had overall positive impact. But anyways looking forward to finishing that up, hopefully today.
Also caught up with Dak and Shak for the first time in a couple weeks so just chilled and then passed out shortly thereafter.
