Yesterday was one of those "perfect days." Did pretty much everything I wanted to from a work and personal standpoint.
Recorded a podcast episode, normal routines, worked out, and even rented out the place that I wanted to go to to do my Q1 review and Q2 planning. I'd be here a total of 3 nights. There's a decent amount of yurt glamping options that I saw across the NC-GA-TN area. This one is near Lake Norman so I don't even have to drive that far out. It also has WiFi so even though I do want to unplug, I also do want WiFi because I'll be using Notion and probably reading things online, etc. Excited to go there & experience this, hopefully the start of a regular practice for me.
In preparation for our franchise Discovery Day in a few weeks, we needed some assets designed. And with the tight timeline, that was as normal passed on to our design resource. And he didn't seem too thrilled about it with it being so last minute, which I totally get. The good thing is I brought it up yesterday and not later but in the future if there's any dependent tasks, I want to knock those out first so that the necessary people have enough time to do it. It's no the end of the world if we don't get some of it done, but we'd want the potential franchisees to have the best possible impression and experience of us.
