After work Thursday, ended up getting boba virtually. She has a lot of energy and in a way that it radiates and bounces off each other and expands. She does ask good questions. One at the beginning of what my purpose is and at the end with what metric I'd choose to have displayed over someone at all times. For herself, she said emotional responsiveness is very important to her and deems it to be pretty high for herself. In the moment I answered how much someone is interested in learning about themselves, since I value that a lot. Since I've grown so much from it myself with that mindset. After pondering a bit more there are others that would also provide much value and insight into how people think. One is when they are in an interaction, for what they're going to say next, how much of their mind goes to asking a question vs responding with a statement. I think this shows acumen and empathy and intuition. Knowing when to respond with one vs another. And generally how inquisitive they are. Wanting to get to the depths of an idea or topic or themselves. Another one is how much they are having thoughts and acting on these thoughts based out of fear vs love. If I place fear on one end of the spectrum and love on the other, what I realized is that this is really an Intention Spectrum. If all of my intentions are pure, aka drive by 100% love, then everything will work out. Since I know that intentions are the key to everything happening as I desire, just having everything driven by love is what's important. Of course I'm not there currently but I've definitely been more aware of this idea of fear vs love and how we think and act throughout our lives. The more I can be aware of this Intention Spectrum and use it as a guide to making decision and assessing my emotions and feelings, the more likely I can dial it towards love.
Something I've also noticed in my life and in others is that we're repeatedly presented with 2+ concurrent versions / variations of something to help us recognize something about ourselves. The Universe is always putting out this noise, the question is are we listening to it. In my own life, it's been two types of convos that I've had very close together chronologically. One may be energy creating vs the other energy draining. Or at least not stimulating enough for me to be 100% engaged the whole time. Nothing wrong with that, we just may be vibrating at different frequencies at that particular time. If I'm aware enough, those macro decision and especially micro decisions are always around us and I can pick up on that and do what's best for my soul and energy.
When I was going through my rut a few weeks ago, it can be tough to see how I'm actually getting stronger as a result of that process. The quicker I can be aware that those downs are actually the best times to learn about myself, the more I can extract out of that experience. I think in the past I've equated growth with an upward trajectory graph of let's say something like positivity or energy or productivity. But let's say the graph of my mood / emotions / motivation is going down (and usually things go down faster than they go up, e.g. stock market, habits, etc.). Instead of my personal growth graph across time going down, it should also be going up at that same rate. (see graphs on pg 4) for both 'positive times'. (See graphs on pg 4) for 'negative times' and positive growth. So in essence, we are always growing. We never actually go backward. Question is how fast we're growing - this is a result of our awareness, focus, and intention. If I'm aware, focused, and intentional about taking every 'positive' and 'negative' experience as a growth opportunity, then the derivative of the curve will only continue to increase.
