Why do I want to be in nature for my career?
Because it’s frickin’ beautiful! Who doesn’t want to be in nature?! It’s amazing to just soak it in.
A lot of my answers for these questions have been along the lines of “Duh, who wouldn’t?!” Maybe the implication there is that I don’t necessarily need a reason to want anything. The reason for something is both everything and nothing. Everything in the sense that it’s all karma, cause & effect. Nothing in the sense that is just is.
That that is its nature. Our nature. To want something. So why fight it? Just channel it towards positive change and you magnify your desire.
In my career though, I want to actively make it a part of my quality of life. Parts of my job to be out in nature. Maybe doing a hike, a climb, a swim with part of my community that I’ve built. Retreats out in remote parts of the country and world to energize our souls. Being out in those places allows us to connect to a deeper part of ourselves. So we can connect even deeper with others.
Rupert Spira says that beauty is just the word we use for Divine Love in the context of nature. It makes us feel simultaneously infinitely conscious and finitely insignificant and even like we’re nothing. It makes us feel ∞, 1, and 0, all at once.
If that is what Divine Love is like, then we should be looking to do things that put us in that state all the time. Of course, that’s a poor way of phrasing it. We should be in that state naturally and then everything we do will automatically be that. A way to progress to that level though is to do that through the lens of the first way. A gradual, first step.
When I say “create energy”, this is really what I mean. Feeling 0, 1, and ∞ all at once. When we do that, we can create and then share this energy.
This energy creation concept is an interesting one because people are taught that energy cannot be created or destroyed. Physics-wise, that may be true. But the mistake we make is we apply this principle of physics in the realm of metaphysics. And the same rules don’t apply.
We’ve then taken this limiting energy belief and then 1) applied it to other things to have limiting beliefs about and 2) tried fitting it into non-physical dimensions and get stuck as a result.
We’ve taken rationality and are attempting to frame it within metarationality. Or the intuition side. Applying finite principles to the infinite consciousness.
Similarly, you can’t necessarily apply infinite principles to the finite realm. They are each operating at different frequencies. Understanding when to employ which principle in which context is key to mastering each individual situation.
So why do I want to be in nature as part of my career? So I can be 0, 1, and ∞ all at once, thus employing myself to let the Divine Love shine.
